Compré un vehículo recientemente y mi experiencia fue muy decepcionante. El vendedor, Juan Acosta, junto con el departamento de finanzas, manejaron la transacción de manera poco transparente. El vehículo tenía un valor reportado en Carfax de $26,000. Sin embargo, al momento del cierre, el precio aumentó a $30,454.26 debido a cargos adicionales que no fueron explicados claramente desde el inicio. A esto le añadieron un “service fee” de $1,876. Además, me ofrecieron GAP. Les indiqué claramente que lo pagaría con tarjeta de crédito, pero aun así lo incluyeron también dentro del préstamo. Terminé pagando $32,439.36 financiados, más $1,200 de GAP y $500 de pronto que fueron cargados a mi tarjeta. Otro punto preocupante fue el financiamiento. Solicité que se hiciera con VyStar, pero sin mi consentimiento terminaron gestionando el préstamo con 5/3 Bank. A pesar de tener excelente crédito, me asignaron un APR de 7.89%. Posteriormente, al contactar a VyStar, me informaron que ellos habían ofrecido un APR de 5.8%, lo cual nunca me fue presentado. En resumen, hubo falta de transparencia, cargos duplicados y decisiones tomadas sin mi autorización. Recomiendo a futuros compradores revisar cada documento cuidadosamente y no confiar en lo que se les diga verbalmente. I recently purchased a vehicle and had a very disappointing experience. The salesperson, Juan Acosta, along with the finance department, handled the transaction in a highly non-transparent way. The vehicle was listed on Carfax for $26,000. However, by the time of closing, the price increased to $30,454.26 due to additional charges that were not clearly explained upfront. On top of that, they added a $1,876 service fee. I was also offered GAP insurance. I clearly stated that I would pay for it with my credit card, yet they still added it to the loan. In total, I ended up financing $32,439.36, plus paying $1,200 for GAP and $500 down payment charged separately to my credit card.
